A migrant was recently recorded walking naked in Rotherham, UK.
“This is now modern-day England manufactured by Labour’s Keir Starmer government,” said a social media user.
In 2025, the UK has seen a record-breaking influx of migrants crossing the English Channel in small boats, with over 27,997 arrivals by August 20, a 47% increase from 18,342 in the same period of 2024.
The majority, 76% of whom are men over 18, originate from countries like Afghanistan (15%), Eritrea, Iran, Syria, Sudan, and Vietnam.
The crossings, often facilitated by smuggling gangs charging £3,000–£6,000 per person, have led to 20 deaths in 2025, following 77 in 2024, the deadliest year on record.
The Labour government, under Prime Minister Keir Starmer, has prioritized “smashing the gangs,” allocating £100 million for 300 National Crime Agency officers and £150 million for a new Border Security Command, while continuing a £500 million agreement with France to enhance coastal patrols.
A new “one-in-one-out” deal with France allows some migrants to be returned, with the UK accepting an equal number of legal asylum seekers.
Claims have surfaced, notably on X, alleging the Home Office indirectly funds the dinghies used by migrants, with suggestions that collected boats are stored, transported by a private company-owned vehicle, and returned to France for reuse at taxpayer expense.
These claims remain unverified, with no official evidence from government sources confirming such a process. The Home Office has stated its focus is on disrupting smuggling operations and preventing dangerous crossings, with French authorities intercepting boats and returning migrants where possible.
The government’s Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill aims to strengthen enforcement, but crossings continue to rise, drawing criticism for perceived inefficacy.
